Discovery Projects come before production. Discoveries allow us to partner with you to blueprint your project before the build. We recommend most discoveries involve User Experience (UX) research. 

Discovery with UX

• Ideal for projects with complex content and/ or functionality
• Data driven to ensure the project meets business and user goals
• Typically results in less costly re-work

Discovery without UX

• Best suited for small projects
• Can be done where exact specifications are limited or already known

Discovery Timeline

• Kick off meeting
  • Confirms project goals and next steps.
• User Experience Services (strongly recommended)
• Requirements gathering
  • The number of meetings varies by project size and scope.
  • The developer and designer will research the requirements. The outcome will be the Project Initiation Plan.
• Project Initiation Plan (PIP)
  • The PIP estimates the cost and plans for the Production Project.
  • The PIP will then be sent to the client for final approval. Once approved, the project will be scheduled.
