Project Management

Your project manager will be your main point of contact. They will organize your timeline, budget and scope. Consider the PM the glue that holds everything together until completion.

1. Intake

   Intake is the first step in beginning a project. We meet with you to learn about your objectives, budget and timeline to determine whether your project will require a discovery. To get started, you can meet with us for a free one hour intake meeting.

2. Discovery

   Discovery is a series of workshops where we blueprint your project before the build, culminating in:

   • Detailed requirements
   • The project plan outlining the cost and scope of the build.

   Once approved, the project can be scheduled.

3. User Experience Strategy & Research

   Your project may include User Experience (UX) consulting and research. We have a modern, user first approach and offer the full spectrum of research methodologies. These services can be performed on existing sites or iteratively throughout design and development.

4. Content Strategy

   Content strategy addresses the value, substance, and organization of your online content. We may recommend content audits, information architecture redesigns, editorial consults, and other services to help you streamline your offerings and strengthen relationships with users.

5. Branding & Design

   After discovery and UX research your project will move to design. Our team creates modern designs that integrate UX and accessibility best practices. 6. Development

   Once you have approved designs, development can begin. We develop simple websites to large custom applications. Our team is versed in a variety of technologies and content management systems including:

7. Accessibility and QA

   After development, our team will review your site before launch. This will ensure your site passes our rigorous QA and accessibility standards. We review your website for WCAG 2.2 level AA in compliance with Cornell policy. This ensures your website works for those using assistive technologies.

8. Support & Maintenance

   After launch your site will require periodic maintenance to keep it secure and functioning. Our Support and Maintenance team will automatically take care of those important and required updates to your site. We follow best practices for security and partner closely with the IT Security Office. We also provide any support or training needs as your website matures.
