Designed for WordPress and Drupal, this theme comes preloaded with branded components, enabling you to create visually appealing, brand compliant websites with ease. Whether you want to use the base theme or collaborate with us for customizations, the theme serves as the perfect foundation for your website needs.

Branded Theme Options

The theme can be used standalone on the CU Blogs platform. You can also spin up a basic Pantheon site with the base theme with WordPress.

Customizing Theme Elements with WordPress

To customize the branded theme, visit the “Theme Options” page, which can be found in the left-hand admin menu of your WordPress site dashboard. Here you will find options to add new types of content such as People, News, and Events. You can also customize the layout of the site and of content archive pages; and configure menus and the site footer.

There are additional options in the theme customizer (under Appearance > Customize in the admin menu of the WP dashboard). Here, you can determine the background color and layout of the Cornell-branded banner that appears at the top of every page on your site. You can also set a default image to be used directly under this banner, add social media links to the footer of your site, and configure standard WordPress options like site name, menus, and widgets.
